The 32 was designed as an RF amplifier in battery operated receivers.

The control grid connects to the top cap. At the base of the perforated screen can be seen the two grids and the connection to the cylindrical anode. Just visible is one of the filament wires.
The balloon envelope is 45 mm in diameter and, excluding the UX4 base pins, is 109 mm tall.
