The EC92 is a single triode designed for use as a mixer, amplifier or oscillator in VHF television receivers. The heater is controlled in both voltage and current requirements so that it can be used for parallel or series heater chains.
It appears to be a miniature replacement for the EC52 low power VHF oscillator valve.
The small anode is folded and stitched on one side.
The front to back dimension is about 2 mm.
The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type EC92 was first introduced in 1952. See also 1952 adverts.
