The Raycraft Bridge as the advert terms this photocell dates to 1931. Internally it is a selenium cell.
It still works and when illuminated by a bright audio modulated light will produce an output of the modulation that can be amplified and reproduced.

The 90 mm diameter base with identification sticker.
The encased wide glass tube envelope is 36 mm in diameter, and including the base is 130 mm tall.
