The DCH11 is a triode hexode for use as an oscillator and mixer in battery operated radio receivers.
The paper band gives information in a language that I cannot read, and a serial number. Marcel van de Gavel has researched Tjernelds Radio and reports that it was a Swedish company based in Stockholm. The company was founded in 1923 and made radio sets until the late 1950's.
The dome carries the identification information stamped into the metal.
The footless base showing how the plastic is held to the shell with four crimp points.
The wide metal tube envelope is 36 mm in diameter, and excluding the base pins is 43 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet Type DCH11 was first introduced in 1941. See also 1941 adverts.
