The CV468 is a sub miniature VHF/UHF amplifier triode. The commercial equivalent is the EC70 that Mullard introduced in 1950 but the prototype was the VX8031.
The rear of the anode. The heater and cathode connections are on the left as are the grid supports.
The grid cooling fin is on the right.
The thin glass tube envelope is 10 mm in diameter, and excluding the B8D base wires is 38 mm tall.
