The CV5060 is an RF pentode, that dates from 1955, with a high mutual conductance and was designed for video or other wideband RF amplification. The commercial equivalent is the Z759.
The envelope is opaque all round. The GEC logo denotes a professional device.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 48 mm tall.
