The VLS492AG is a small monitor CRT for use with up to 1,000 Volts across the tube. The the AG denotes a green phosphor. A variant with a blue phosphor was also made. The blue was used when it was required to take photographs of the trace.The whole of the end of the envelope is used as the screen without a flare.The wide glass tube envelope is 39 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 153 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet.
