The CV4011 is a sharp cut-off, dual control pentode. The control can be via the suppressor grid as well as the control grid. Uses include mixer and modulator service. The valve has a commercial equivalent 5725 and is a special quality valve. The Valve is optimised for a rugged life such as airbourne equipment.
The side view of the carbonised square box anode shows the spiral grids within.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7G base pins is 37 mm tall.
