The 5Z4 was designed to supply equipment of up to 40 Watts total power, this rectifier was made by several manufacturers. This suggests it became a very popular type. Brimar is the name on the envelope but this valve was made in the USA for Brimar.

The thin metal tube envelope is 24 mm in diameter and excluding the IO base pins, is 65 mm tall.
