The 6922 is a special quality double triode. The special quality in this case referred to its long service life. Electrically the 6922 is identical to the E88CC.

The 6922 is described as being for use in cascode circuits and as a multivibrator and cathode follower in computers. I suspect that a computer application was the main function.

The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 45 mm tall.
