The V453 is a straight amplifier pentode. It has the British 1930s standard 4.0 Volt heater but at less than the standard 1.0 Amp but was introduced in the mid to late 1940's.
The classic envelope is 32 mm in diameter and, excluding the MO base pins, is 90 mm tall.
