The VR67 is a single medium μ triode is housed within a glass envelope. The valve is a 6J5G marked with the pre CV register RAF valve code of VR67 for Valve Receiving number 67.
This is a classic triode design with the popular audio double triode the 6SN7 being a pair of 6J5s in a single envelope.
The electrode assembly is hidden by the gettering on one side but the pinch and supports can be seen from this side. The triode section is quite a small portion of the envelope length. The base cap also is marked with the old UK services stores code of 110E/68 and Made in USA.
A closer look at the triode assembly.
The classic envelope is 39 mm in maximum diameter and excluding the IO base pins the valve is 87 mm long.
