G8LSD Valve Collection
The PCL85 is a triode and output pentode combined. The PCL85 was used as frame output valve on monocrome tv's and occasionally (ITT CVC5 chassis) colour tv's. The pentode section does not have an audio output rating as one would expect.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 68 mm tall.
