G8LSD Valve Collection
This is the co-axial connection version of the 4CX250B tetrode. This exhibit was withdrawn from commercial service in 1989. In parallel push pull they are used in compact 1 kW VHF transmitters.
The design is made for forced air cooling. The radiator fins are clearly visible in the picture.
The co-axial envelope is 40 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8F base pins, is 65 mm tall.
