The box is 68 mm square and 146 mm long. This is a standard box with the Type designation added by a circular sticker. The box is made from pasteboard with a paper cover. It is made in two sections so that the lid removes. Inside cardboard sections top and bottom hold the valve in place. The space above the pins is to hold the data-sheet. The 1928 & 1929 adverts are evidence for this box to date to 1928.
