The box is 70 x 94 x 23 mm. The box is two piece with the outer sliding over the inner offering two layers of protection for the cards. The front of the box carries a picture of an 11D3 valve box. The 11D3 itself was released in 1934 and playing cards issued to advertise valve makers products was a feature of the early 1930's. The back of the box has a card stuck to it displaying the reverse side image.
