The tax sticker is dated 1948 placing the design in the late 1940's. The folded card inner holds the valve with the base pins to the opening end. The cardboard box is 65 mm square and 153 mm long.This box is plain cardboard with a single paper strip pasted down over two sides and the top. The purchase tax declaration dates this box to April 1948 and show post-war austerity measures in action. The printed strip is a simple two colour design.
