The CV1672 is an indirectly heated audio output pentode with a five Watt anode dissipation. The prototype was the Pen36C audio output pentode. The old GPO code is POVT103B.

The heater is a pair of inverted V's in series. The centre point is held on a strut secured in the pinch. The cathode is almost a flat rectangle.
The control grid has a heat radiating fin added above the top mica. Two wire grids are visible and g3 could be beam plates at each end.
The classic envelope is 54 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7 base pins is 112 mm tall.
