The CV1933 (commercially the 6J5) is a general purpose triode specified for the UK Government after 1941 when the Common Valve system was introduced. The reverse carries the Mullard name and is branded 'Amerty'. Amerty indicates a valve made during WWII for Mullard by an American/Canadian manufacturer.
