CV2179 is the UK Government procurement designation for the commercial A2134 pentode. The literature shows that it is designated as an audio power valve and as a series pass element.
In class AB1 a pair of valves in push pull will deliver 13.3 Watts. The input needs 30 Volts peak to peak and the anode load has to 7500 Ω.
In class A triode application the valve will generate 2.6W at 1.4% distortion.
The KB/Z identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the Z identifies the maker as MO Valve Company, Hammersmith.

This base view shows the copper of the control grid rods and the insulated heater wires. Also the mica sheet is doubled indicating that the valve has vibration resistance.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter, and excluding the base pins is 61 mm tall.
