The 11D5 amplifier triode has medium impedance and a low mutual conductance. We have no other guidance as to its design use and the literature gives the base as B7. Clearly this is incorrect.

The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8B base pins, is 54 mm tall.
