Duncan Brown's Donation
The Z63 amplifier pentode was designed as a low noise audio pre-amplifier This valve was also known as the KTZ63.
The inner coating on the glass masks the electrodes. Here the connections emerging from the pinch can be seen together with heater wire and its insulation.
The Marconi brand of M-OV was usually reserved for professional valve types. Osram being the domestic brand.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 98 mm tall.
