The PCL83 is a television audio triode output pentode. It produces enough output power for an average domestic environment.

This standard design was made by several manufacturers. We also have an example PCL83 from Brimar.

In the envelope the two electrode systems are side by side. The triode being within the much smaller anode.

The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins, is 49 mm tall.
