HMS Collingwood
This counter indicator tube is unusual in having so many connections. The individual electrodes are numerals only. The tube is rated for a 5,000 hour service life and the indication needs to change at least once per 24 hours.
The base has 26 pins set in two concentric circles. The outer ring of 17 pins are used for the anode and 10 cathodes. The rest of the pins form supporting points for the internal structures.
The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter and, excluding the special base pins, is 67 mm tall.
