The 5AR4 is a compact high current full wave rectifier for use in high current small equipment use.

The envelope contains two flanged anodes that are carbonised for greater radiation efficiency.

The wide glass tube envelope is 31 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 69 mm tall.
