This 12A6 metal valve was made by RCA in America. This exhibit is also marked as distributed by Brimar and was thus clearly destined for the UK market. The 12A6 was designed for use the the single end audio output stages of radio receivers.

The picture of the other side of the valve shows how the RCA name is also present.

The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 67 mm tall.
