The MVSPenB was probably introduced in the late 1930s. It has the standard mains heater of the day, 4.0 V at 1.0 A. This variable μ pentode was designed for RF and IF amplifier service in superhet radio receivers.
The classic envelope is 43 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7 base pins, is 104 mm tall.
