G8LSD Valve Collection
We have no operating details on this thyratron as yet. It is a reasonable guess that it is a high voltage, high peak current design.
The main electrodes are connected from the pinch to the pins by copper braid. The device is cold cathode and appears to be of a tetrode design with two control electrodes. The anode is connected to the top cap.
The wide glass tube envelope is 30 mm in diameter and, excluding the UX4 base pins, is 144 mm tall.
