The VT65 is a WW2 RAF transmitting valve code. The commercial equivalent is the 6C5, and RCA badged their products with both type designations.
We have few details and no circuits for this exhibit.
An amplifier triode of low impedance this valve was obsolete by the 1960s.
The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 50 mm tall.
