The CCH35 is described by Mullard as a triode hexode for use as a frequency changer. The hexode section is designed for operation with AGC. The CCH35 is an ECH35 except for the 200 mA heater. The exhibit shows the Mullard bright red metalising finish. This valve would have been used for universal voltage mains sets, alternating or direct current. It would have been available for use in the early television sets.
The classic envelope is 33 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins is 93 mm tall.
