G8LSD Valve Collection
We have no details as yet for this octal based triode exhibit.
The disc seal planar construction suggests a very high frequency of operation. The absence of any anode heatsink points to a low power or receiving valve. Through the envelope one can see the metal mesh grid that completely separates the valve into two sections. The anode rod is connected to the top cap.
Probably designed to operate with the grid at ground potential with the valve passing through a metal lid separating two cavities.
The planar envelope is 26 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 52 mm tall.
