The 1B26 is a TR cell designed for the 23-24 GHz band.With a high intensity transmission pulse the TR cell will conduct and block off the waveguide port to the receiver, thus protecting the receiver front end devices from the transmitter power. Once the transmit RF pulse has decayed the ionisation collapses and the receiver port is open again.The waveguide flange with the spark-gap within.The side arm contains an adjusting screw to tune the spark-gap by changing the gap length.The box has several layers of corrugated cardboard individually shaped to hold the valve securely. The closed box measures 125 x 85 x 42 mm.The wide glass tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and overall is 86 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & Private communication.
